Day 1 - Lexington

Rollin for the colon is finally underway! I hit the road today at about 130 pm after a great party at ozone (especially in terms of donuts per person) and some last minute preparation. The 53 miles to lexington were uneventful. I had a strong tailwind all the way, and the weather was wonderful. it took 4 hours and the sun was setting when I arrived. my bike, despite weighing in at 90 lbs, felt great. everything was tight, nothing rattled and it all felt very smooth. I'm looking forward to a leisurely ride tomorrow and meeting my host in college station.
